On their quest for commonalities and links between cultures, the cellist and composer Clementine Gasser, known for “subversive classical avant-garde”, the sitar player Klaus Falschlunger who prefers experimental sounds, and Pepe Fiore, tabla player and multi-percussionist, succeeded in weaving connections between avant-garde and Indian music. The concert programme includes original compositions and adaptations of tracks on the CD Menuhin meets Shankar.
